Film Soup at Virginia Highland Summerfest, Part One

During my most recent festival, I decided to demonstrate my film soup process to give a better understanding of what it means to “soup” film. It’s one thing to describe it; another to actually show it! And by your jaw-dropping reactions, it was a hit.

I had a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 film that I shot in Destin back in May and decided to soup it in my go-to recipe of lemon juice, Kosher salt and dish soap. I let it soak all day (around 12 hours) and here are the very colorful results!
