Blue and Purple Atlanta Skyline
This isn’t your usual view of Atlanta’s famous skyline from Jackson Street Bridge. The unique treatment in this photo was created by hand—and by chance—through a process called souping. The image was first shot on film; then that film was soaked for 24 hours in a mixture of water, lemon juice and bath salts (the soup) and left to dry for two weeks. Once dry, I developed and scanned the film myself. What resulted was this one-of-a-kind, colorful scene of Atlanta’s skyline.
