Sea Oat Blues
A colorful, dream-like scene of sea oats lining the shore along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Sea Oat Blues was created using one of Mallory's favorite techniques, film soup. Film soup is an experimental process in which film negatives are soaked in a variety of fun substances to make a "soup", like salt, dish soap and lemon juice, which interact with the film and result in wild color shifts, light leaks and enhanced textures like grain and marks. It's unpredictable and totally unique!
