Miami Beach's iconic 6th Street lifeguard tower transformed through experimental analog photography. Shot on film and processed through film soup—an experimental chemical process using unexpected household materials—this piece demonstrates how controlled interventions can elevate ordinary subjects into contemporary fine art.
The film soup technique creates unrepeatable chemical reactions across the negative, producing vibrant color shifts and luminous saturation impossible to achieve digitally. Every effect emerges from physical interaction between exposed film and experimental chemical mixtures during development, making each image chemically distinct.
From the Urban Vibrance collection, where Miami's architectural icons become vehicles for analog experimentation.
