In 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Ronnie Van Zant told his bandmates to "play it pretty for Atlanta" during a performance at the Fox Theatre. Those words now appear in neon above the stage doors, encouraging every performer before they take the stage. The multiple exposure technique layers the neon sign with color shifts created through custom filters, producing atmospheric effects that amplify the sign's cultural resonance while creating something visually distinctive.
